At Next Is On Me, we want everyone to enjoy meeting new people while staying safe. Please keep these simple rules in mind when creating or attending events:

• Choose well-lit, public locations such as cafés, bars, restaurants, or community spaces.
• Avoid private homes or remote places for first meetings.

2. Tell a Friend

• Let a friend or family member know where you’re going and who you’re meeting.
• Share event details and check in with them when you arrive and when you leave.

3. Trust Your Instincts

• If something feels off, it probably is.
• You never have to stay at an event if you feel uncomfortable.

4. Limit Personal Information

• Don’t overshare sensitive details (home address, workplace, financial information).
• Use the app’s profile and messaging features — only share phone numbers or social media when you feel comfortable.

5. Be Respectful

• Treat others the way you’d want to be treated.
• Harassment, discrimination, and unsafe behaviour are not tolerated.

6. Report Issues

• If you encounter inappropriate behaviour, report it to us.
• Use the Contact / Report link on the site so we can investigate.
